Fallow Deer is native of Europe but exists in many countries around the world since being introduced as an exotic species. Some of these countries are the USA (Texas and Hawaii), Australia, Argentina and New Zealand. Having one of the most beautiful pelts of all deer species, the axis deer or chital hide is great for making pillows, shoes, wallets, pillows and for upholstering furniture.
This skin can be used for upholstering furniture but does have small holes. Might be a better skin to be used as a floor rug due to the "hollow" kind of hair/fur the fallow deer has.
