The reindeer (Rangifer tarandus), also known as caribou in North America, is a species of deer with circumpolar distribution, native to Arctic, Subarctic, tundra, boreal and mountainous regions of northern Europe, Siberia, and North America. This includes both sedentary and migratory populations. While overall widespread and numerous, our reindeer skins come from Scandinavia from semi-wild herds. We only carry top quality and largest size. Perfect quality tanning. Hang one to your wall and nothing will spell "lodge" more than these beautiful pelts. The hair is supper lush but not suited for walking on due to its hollow nature which results in shedding. Best use is on wall or under a table with low to no traffic.
